Colleen Cunningham is Assistant Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, where she studies innovation, entrepreneurship, and corporate strategy. She is interested in how established firms and new ventures access the resources necessary to commercialize new technologies, how firms construct and implement innovation strategies, and the relationship between innovation and performance. Her research is quantitative and typically focuses on the medical device, pharmaceutical, and energy industries. Colleen holds a PhD from Duke University and is a recent recipient of the Academy of Management TIM Division's “Emerging Scholar” award for her contributions to our field.
